Dr. Garvan Browne

Dr. Garvan Browne is the proprietor of The Phoenix Medical Clinic. He qualified in RCSI Dublin in 1984. Dr. Browne spent 10 years spanning the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, working as a Histopathologist and Immunopathologist in Ireland, the UK and USA before returning home to Ireland. He is now a Family Practitioner and Occupational Physician. He has a special interest in Occupational Health, Immunology and Respiratory Medicine. Dr. Browne is a co-author of “Your Health and Welcome To It”. A common sense to health issues that we all face. He is a very talented musician, and hosts a regular Jazz Show on Radio.

Dr William Moore

Dr William Moore has recently launched his new book with Balboa Press Hay House. His book is called “The Keys To The Doors Of Perception”, A portrait of the artist in the mind of man. His book is available now from Dr. Moore’s special interests are in Dermatology, Rheumatology, and Minor Surgical Procedures.

Grace Calonsag was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in Misamis University, Philippines . She came to Ireland in 2010 where she qualified as a General Nurse. She has a special interest in Women’s Health. Her responsibilities include: Cervical Smears, Paediatric Immunisation, General Vaccinations, Bloods, ECG’s, Dressings, Diabetic Care, and Health promotion.

Practice Manager - Roisin Phelan

Roisin Phelan joined the practice in 2013. She was awarded an ICGP Practice Manager Diploma and was promoted to this role in 2015. Roisin and the reception team are dedicated to providing a stress-free and superior quality of care to all. Roisin is passionate about patient care and makes herself available to listen to, understand and help all our patients.

Noeleen O’Driscoll is highly professional in her role. Her organisation and customer services skills contribute to a high standard of patient care. Her role is very interesting and varied, helping patients, assisting busy Doctors and clinical staff. Patient’s needs and requests are her utmost priority.

Counsellor & Hypnotherapist Cathy Breslin is an Addiction Counsellor, Hypnotherapist and an International Author of two Self Help Books. She has worked as a therapist and as a Life Skills Trainer in Dublin and Co. Kildare since 1999. Her interests are in Personal Development, Archetypal Analysis and Weight Management. Cathy combines a passion for people with a unique skill set in helping people to improve their lives. Cathy maintains that change is possible for everyone at any age and that “small steps make big changes”.

Child & Adolescent Psychologist - Dr Kate Byrne

Child & Adolescent Psychologist Dr Kate Byrne is a Child and Adolescent Psychologist. She has been in private practice in South Kildare for 18 years and specialises in behavioural psychology, neuropsychology and eating disorders. Kate has an interest in attachment and presents workshops and research papers around the country. Kate also is involved in working with adults and children with autism and sensory integration as two of her own children have mild special needs which motivated her interest in this field.

Counsellor and Psychotherapist - John Ryan

John Ryan is a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, John has extensive private practice experience since he graduated from PCI College with an Honours Primary Diploma back in 2011. Previously John worked voluntarily with local parish centres delivering counselling as a service. John brings specialist skills around stress and anxiety management, depression, relationship management, bereavement with specific knowledge around sudden death, crisis management as well as other general presenting difficulties. John’s presence is initially centred on healing through a genuine and non-judgmental approach to counselling, integrating other forms of counselling such as CBT and Gestalt therapy to encourage long lasting benefit by fundamentally empowering people with the tools and skills to make a difference in their own lives.
